Listen and assess
Initial appointments include discussion of symptoms, goals and history, supported by appropriate movement, strength and clinical testing.
A personalised approach to assessment, treatment and getting back to your activities.
Peak Physiotherapy was founded by Clive Pereira, who trained in Australia and later developed his sports and exercise medicine expertise in London. His clinical background includes sports medicine and physiotherapy settings in Melbourne and London, alongside pitch-side involvement in Australian football and rugby union.
Clive has lived in St Albans with his family since 2017. The clinic brings together the experience of working with active people and an understanding that everyday pain can be every bit as disruptive as a sporting injury.
Rather than offering the same routine to every patient, the emphasis is on understanding the cause and impact of symptoms, discussing the findings and agreeing a realistic route forwards.

Initial appointments include discussion of symptoms, goals and history, supported by appropriate movement, strength and clinical testing.
Findings and treatment options are discussed in plain language. Where appropriate, hands-on care can sit alongside advice and exercise.
Exercises and activity levels are reviewed against individual goals, including work, hobbies, sport or recovery from surgery.
Peak's original website describes links with strength and conditioning coaches, consultants and podiatrists. The intent is to support people through rehabilitation, particularly when a graduated return to exercise or sport is important.
The clinic also describes access to gym equipment for rehabilitation. Current partner facilities and the correct clinic location should be confirmed before publication.
